Exercise leggings, with a phone pocket, that don't slip down....

Can anyone recommend some that don't cost the earth? For size 14/16. I've got some primark ones , which looked fine but slip down pretty much as soon as I move. I dont want low waisted, they must cover my ample arse and stomach.

I dobt really want to spend more than £20 for a pair but might be convinced if they are really good

Rainbow and Sprinkles leggings are the best I've ever tried. They're more on the pricey side for leggings but they never stretch in the wash, bobble or fall down and they're very flattering. They also come with either a back phone pocket or one on the leg :)

I got a great pair in Decthlon! Not at all spendy and fit my iPhone12 no problem. Would definitely recommend.

Decathlon.

Easily the best VFM and their own brands are good quality. They have a range of styles and lengths, and weight f fabric which changes with the seasons (and even the lightweight summer ones are squat-proof). They have drawstrings if you need them. And they have brilliant pockets

Women's Running Leggings | Ladies Running Tights | Decathlon

They start at £13.99 for full length and £11.99 for capri

Another vote here for Rainbows and Sprinkles, great fitting leggings that never slip down and roomy pocket (choice of waistband or thigh). They also come in regular length or cropped, and in loads of nice designs!

cocksstrideintheevening · 24/04/2023 11:15

Fabletics. They don't budge. Sign up for the for the offer and then just cancel it. It's usually 2 for £22.

randomsabreuse · 24/04/2023 11:15

Look for drawstrings! I like Aurique (Amazon) Asda are ok (but no drawstring). Decathlon but try them on as they're all different. Also some have different pockets...

BungalowLil · 24/04/2023 11:18

I bought two pairs in Sainsbury's for about £16 each. Both are brilliant.

Hugasauras · 24/04/2023 11:19

Rainbows and Sprinkles or Llama Leisure. I find the latter more comfy but both are great and have designs with pockets, etc.

GloomySkies · 24/04/2023 11:21

I bought these from Amazon two years ago and they're still going strong

Bemyclementine · 24/04/2023 11:21

I don't t think the Rainbows and sprinkles ones are for me, I just want black or dark grey (I see they have black but £40 a pair)

We don't have a local decathlon so if the sizing is difficult I'll probably give those a miss

The abazon ones look good @Highworth do you have them? I'm 14/16 so not sure what size to go for.

Sainsbury is a good shout, I might just go there, thanks.

I bought them four years ago and still use them regularly. I'm a 10-12 and have a size small.

TheNachtzehrer · 24/04/2023 11:31

M&S Goodmove are high waisted, good quality, don't slip on me at all and have phone pocket.

Alargeoneplease89 · 24/04/2023 11:37

H&M - just bought some with a hidden pocket and high waisted and has drawstrings. I'm a size 4 and everything slides down my non existent ass and these are the first ones that haven't.

Frenchlady2023 · 24/04/2023 11:38

I love my M&S Goodmove ones. Phone pocket, drawstring and high waist.

Limth · 24/04/2023 11:51

Please may I ask, are the Rainbows and Sprinkles leggings bum-sculpting in any way?

I have a flat bum so I like leggings with a bit of lift to them.

The Rainbows and Sprinkles ones don't look very flattering at all from the website 😱

I swear by Sweaty Betty Power leggings. They're expensive new (but worth every penny I think). But you can usually pick up some good bargains on Facebook groups or on Vinted.

tweetypi · 24/04/2023 11:52

I really rate Tikiboo leggings

RoseHarper · 24/04/2023 11:56

Fabletics, bought two pairs on intro deal in 2019 and have worn both weekly since, dont fall down and still as good as new. Sweaty Betty also v. Good, pricey but wear and wash so well.

EssexMamisoa · 24/04/2023 12:02

I have lululemon which are amazing. Although expensive. The only thing I’d say is they last. So you could weigh up how often you go through cheaper leggings vs lululemon. Mine look good as new at 4 years and I train 4-5 times a week. Or see if any on sale.

Username84 · 24/04/2023 12:08

I'd check the Lululemon we made too much sale first, pick ones with a draw cord. Then if they're a no go for fabletics. Don't bother with decathlon as the sizing is all over the shop.

VituperativeGigaTroll · 24/04/2023 12:11

I think that if you can afford to do so, spending up on leggings is cost effective overall. Sweaty Betty are the best in my opinion & they last years even with a couple of washes each week. If you sign up you get a 50% off one item on your birthday which is when I buy new. I have 3 pairs and you can't tell which are the newest vs the oldest. M&S good move are also great to start but I find over time they start to bag and fall down when running. The M&S running tops on the other hand I really rate.

Sidge · 24/04/2023 12:12

I have loads of SugarPocket ones from Amazon.

Not too expensive, wash and wear well. High waisted and don’t dig in, two large pockets and plenty of choices of colours and design. Capri or full length. Squat proof and comfy.

shelbaba · 24/04/2023 12:25

Fabletics are brilliant. Never see through have fab pockets on both sides. I especially like the power hold ones as they hold u in. I only ever buy the 2 for £24 then cancel. They often then send me offers a few months later for the same deal!
