I'm heading to SA for work shortly and looking for the best way to spend money there without incurring bank charges. Is Revlout any good?

I have a Halifax Clarity card fwiw.

Another vote for the Halifax clarity credit card, I’ve used all over the world. And better for work trip if you’ll then claim expenses as you won’t be out of pocket

The Chase card is good. You put money into the account and then use it as a debit card. No forex fees, no mark up on exchange rate. They just use the going exchange rate as it is.

Monzo

I used Chase for a recent European trip but no reason to think it wouldnt be suitable anywhere - bog standard MC debit.

No fees, standard exchange rate, 1% cashback on spending for (I think) first year.
