Can’t find definitive answer on line-can you take bottles of booze in your luggage on DFDS ferries?

DD is on the ferry as foot passenger to Amsterdam on Tuesday and has been given several bottles of booze as presents for her bfs family. Contradicting advice online. She’s stressed enough, and this is making her even more.

Have just done the mini cruise myself, they didn't want you raking alcohol on board, I think as they sell it on board. She would be better to take money and buy it in the duty free on the boat and take it off in Amsterdam

Sgphes moving there and it’s presents she’s been given. What she’s now more concerned about is her luggage! Fuck knows how she’s going to move it.

She’s a foot passenger.

It's not on to expect her to carry loads of bottles if she's on foot. What has she got and what would happen if she left it at home for next time?
