Cancellation of home rights

Hi, h and I split up 8 years ago and I registered my home rights on the property to be safe.
To cut a long story short, I sent off form HR4 with a letter signed by myself releasing my rights to the property in question but haven't heard anything back.

I did not send it registered so I'm thinking I should do it again and send it recorded delivery.

Should I have got some kind of notification?
When I registered my rights, I got a copy of the deeds with the adjustment.

The property needs to be sold and I've agreed with him about selling it.
What would happen if my rights are still registered?

Can I just consent to it or does it have to be done via LR?

I released my Home rights last month. It took 3 months from me sending the HR4 to them coming off. Two months were waiting just for them to respond!
They are slow

Oh no, Well I've done the form again so will send again tomorrow just in case as I can't be sure it ever got there.

...but they did respond to you did they in the end?

I got an alert email to show activity on the house (ie they had got my paperwork) then about 6 weeks later a letter giving me to the end of the month to disagree with the removal.

It took a while!
