...which shin, left or right, is in front/furthest away from you?

Are you right handed or left handed?

I'm easy, I can chuck them whichever way I like - it makes little or no difference to me.

Left and left. I tried the other way and it felt awkward and weird.

That's interesting. I've just tried several times and found I have no preference.
I am fairly ambidextrous although use my right hand more often than left for writing (use my left hand for other things though).
However crossed arms is definitely right over left.

been wondering lately if I should practice the opposite ways to even the stress on my body out?! Surely we must all end up with twisty spines from favouring one way over the other?

I almost invariably do that, too.

What about shoe donning order? Slippers and slip ons are always right foot first. Lace up boots and trainers, right foot, then left, tie left laces then right laces.

I only realised that when it was asked on another forum!

I meant cross legged on the floor like in primary school.

I hadn't sat on the floor for years too, until I had kids! Now I spend half my waking hours on the floor bored out of my brain so started thinking about such questions 😂

I sit right shin in front (feels weird the other way) and I'm right handed.

At 57 (eek! how did that happen) and not a yoga bunny I’m just happy that I can still do it comfortably and get up easily enough.

I would naturally do right in front but I change it up a lot in yoga. I can do either comfortably and could stay in that position quite a long time. I'm hypermobile too. Right handed
