IKEA kids Stuva loft bed - anyone have one in a small room?

My daughters’s bedroom is tiny - 8x7 (at a push). She currently has a Kura bed and a kallax the other side for clothes.
She is now at an age where she would like a desk - I’ve seen the Stuva loft bed and she could have it configured so the desk is facing outwards (like an L shape to the bed) so the wardrobe opens inwards - and then we would have to do away with the kallax.
my question is: can it be built in such a small bedroom?! The ceiling height is ok according to Ikea website, but from what I understand part of the bed needs to be built on the floor and lifted over the base onto it. I can imagine that being really difficult. Has anyone managed it?

Would help if I posted the right name - I meant Smastad bed, not Stuva! Duh! Don’t know how to change that in the title.

I've looked at the instructions online and I think it could be doable but tight. I also think you could probably construct that part in a different order so you don't have to twist it up over the top of the wardrobe though. It might need more hands to hold bits in place to avoid stressing the joints.

it seems to be called SmĂĄstad now.

Thank you. I’ll have a look at the instructing again and see if i can figure out how. Thanks for looking.
