People who never answer their door/phone.
People who get really stroppy about taking in parcels for neighbours.
People who can feed a family of four for a week on one chicken.
People who wash mince (one for the oldies, there.)
People who resent giving somebody a lift to a place they were going anyway.

People who only feed their children supernoodles once a year in an emergency scenario.

HotSince82 · 23/04/2023 10:25

People who decided to have an only child for the sole reason of environmental conscience.

People who think if you have chosen not to give your child a covid vaccine that necessarily makes you an anti vaxxer.

People who believe you need to have 10k savings in the bank to support your child through university.

Cakencookieobsessed · 23/04/2023 10:29

People who think a meal like cottage pie or something else home made is a zero effort/can't be arsed meal. When to the rest of us, it's just a meal. If anyone genuinely couldn't be arsed to cook, they wouldn't start peeling potatoes.

Cakencookieobsessed · 23/04/2023 10:30

And people who thinks it's normal to not have a daily bath or shower.

Yuja · 23/04/2023 10:31

People who are struggling to live a nice lifestyle on a combined income of 300k

Floofydawg · 23/04/2023 10:32

People who love their stepchildren like their own.

NuffSaidSam · 23/04/2023 10:34

People who have a very narrow social circle and thus believe that quite normal behaviour 'only happens on Mumsnet'.

Mookie81 · 23/04/2023 10:42

People who can't understand that their own narrow experience of something isn't universal- 'I do _, what do you mean you don't?!'

Oopswediditagain2023 · 23/04/2023 10:44

Older children helping look after younger ones being "parentifying them" 😂

MyFaceIsAnAONB · 23/04/2023 10:44

People who only know people like themselves

People who care how many kids other people have

Although IRL I do know someone who as small-talk asks how you afford to be a SAHM, how you climbed the corporate ladder, how you can afford to do xyz, she wants step-by-step instructions. So they are out there!!

BarelyLiterate · 23/04/2023 10:51

People who claim to have a household income of £300k yet whinge about how tough their lives are and how they can’t afford the right sort of mansion with the right degree of ‘kerb appeal’ in the right part of the Home Counties. 🙄

Ohow · 23/04/2023 10:53

Cakencookieobsessed · 23/04/2023 10:30

And people who thinks it's normal to not have a daily bath or shower.

People who think it's required to have a daily bath or shower

SoftCoeur · 23/04/2023 10:55

People with six-foot-tall 12-year-olds. I don't doubt they exist, but I've never seen one, and they are two-a-penny on Mumsnet.

MathsNervous · 23/04/2023 10:55

People who seem to use the word "odd" to explain anything unusual or different.

Goodfuckingriddance · 23/04/2023 11:00

Every dinner is equivalent to restaurant standards rather than pie beans and chips!

Throwncrumbs · 23/04/2023 11:03

People have twins, lots of people with twins, just twins!

Hobnobswantshernameback · 23/04/2023 11:05

Teeny tinies who keep getting mistaken for foetuses because they look so young who once smelt alcohol from five miles away and exist on a nibble of fresh air once a week

whiteroseredrose · 23/04/2023 11:11

People who think that saying 'did you mean to be so rude?' would bother a rude person in the slightest.

ImAGoodPerson · 23/04/2023 11:12

People who don't do anything for families and friends and don't think that anyone should expect/hope for this either.

All the things mentioned in the OP.

I swear many people on MN think no one should expand their support group (for want of a better phrase) beyond their walls and think those who do are entitled!!

Eyesopenwideawake · 23/04/2023 11:13

People who drink a small sherry once a year. Odd.

coodawoodashooda · 23/04/2023 11:15

People who wash their bedcovers everyday

Scaredmumsickchild · 23/04/2023 11:17

Loving all the passive aggression on this thread 😝

Derrymum123 · 23/04/2023 11:18

People who ask can you see a line then take a test to pieces and ask again if they don't get the right answer, usually in black and white.
Oh and just for fun nub theories regarding boy or girl. I am sure training takes longer than a glance. Chances are 50:50 at worst.

WandaWonder · 23/04/2023 11:22

People who see drama in every single thing and also hear a story about someone and know exactly how the person is thinking and acting just by that one story

FridayNeverHesitate · 23/04/2023 11:23

People who are super possessive about their fences and won't allow their neighbours to affix a trellis, train a climbing plant or paint the other side of the fence (which they can't even see). I neither know nor care what my neighbours may have affixed to their side of my fence, and I've never heard anybody else express any disquiet about what their neighbours do to fences (except on MN!).
