Driving test cancellation app

My DS couldn't get a local driving test and I understood you had to have a test booked in order to use the cancellation app. So we live in the south east and he could only get a test booked up north

Can I change the test Centre in testi for example? It says you can add up to three nearby test centres but given the original test centre is not nearby I wonder how it would work

We booked a driving test for DS in next door town which enabled us to get the Testi app. You put your details in and it automatically puts you on to booking website when test dates come up. This evening it has just gone bonkers with masses of driving test appointments coming up which thankfully we’ve been able to rebook DS test in our hometown. We only entered the test centre we wanted and it took a week till something came up. Literally had just set my alarm clock for 05.45 Mon morning to get on DVSA website to try again to change it, then the phone started pinging.
