What’s the thing for 17/18 year olds at the moment? Looking for gift ideas

My son’s girlfriend’s birthday is coming up and I am looking for a gift.

I know the fads change, it used to be Tiffany dog tags, then Thomas sabo charms - I was wondering what’s the thing or shop/website of the moment?

Why not buy something based on what she likes or is into (which hopefully your son can tell you!) rather than a generic gift aimed at some age monolith?

I had the same thing recently and got a selfridges gift card, a small bottle or champagne and her favourite chocolates

Our 17 year old family member seems to favour make-up, clothing brands I've never heard of, and vodka
