Ear piercing healing

Dd10 had ears pierced in Feb all good until a week/10 days a go. Took them out to put others in, one bled a bit, sore etc so sge struggled to get it in saying hurt, so winuldnt try after a few days, looks like its healing now, any helpful hints? I'm struggling to get her to try or ket me try as it's hurting, starting to scab up.

We got this when the same happened to DD and it cleared them up really well and no problem since.

Is the earring in or out?
If its out then you may need it repierced to get an earring back in as it will be starting to close again
Or try numbing with an ice pack before trying to get an earring in

Had my daughters done back it August and hers never really healed despite cleaning. I couldn't get them back in without them bleeding so Ive let them heal over and she can get them repierced when she's older.

DD had hers done at 11 and after 7 months, they were still very sore and kept swelling and getting infected. She took them out and had them done again at 15 with a very swift healing time and no problems. No idea why as she was diligent about looking after them and very sensible.

Same thing happened with my daughters and we had to get it repierced. We went back to the piercer who realised the hole wasn't straight which prevented proper healing. It's been fine since.

Thanks everyone, so earring is out. I think I'll try tomorrow and if not let them heal and repierce.
