It's about 30 years since I had any dealings with baby clothes and, strangely enough, I have never bought clothes as a gift for other peoples' newborns in more recent years either. Currently working in a charity shop and whilst sorting a donation of lovely little baby clothes I noticed that on the majority of babygrows and sleepsuits, there's one different coloured popper fastener in the middle underneath and that if you match these two halves then it's foolproof to get the rest done up right! I so wish this "system" had been around when I was a new mum as I was forever getting the poppers muddled up!!! What a revelation
