Numbness,pins and needles and pain in one thigh only

Hi sorry posting on the chat for a bit of advice I’m 29 weeks pregnant and have numbness pins and needles type feeling and quite bad pain in my right leg I don’t want to worry my family but never had it with my other children wondering if it’s normal or should I be worried

meralgia paresthetica
Caused by the compression of a nerve and is quite common in pregnancy.

I get it at night and it wakes me up sometimes

Yes I had this during pregnancy and was referred for acupuncture, which really helped.

Oh thank you everyone that's brilliant I'll have a quick Google on it and see if I can do anything to help it as I have never heard of that before
