If you were going to Waitrose to buy dinner…

As title said, we are going on a very rare trip to Waitrose, normally too far away and also expensive but we are passing and seems rude to not pop in.

Now feeling under pressure to pick up something delicious for dinner and wondered what everyone recommends

I did look at their Levantine table range bit though lots of nice side, dips etc I can’t seem any mains.

I guess I’m looking for inspiration for something yummy and a bit special but doesn’t take a whole lot of effort.

I only ever shop in Waitrose when my OH wants salmon for dinner. They do a ‘bake in a bag’ thing on the fish counter. I then get asparagus which I cook and wrap in Parma ham before frying and serve it with baby broccoli and carrots.

Tiramisu (in the chilled section) for pudding.

I have had lamb chops from the meat counter. They were nice, and big. They were very tasty, and worth the extra expense.
