Do you wash everything when you get back?

Some of it has been worn once or twice and then packet in packing cubes to transport home cleanish and dirty separated --some of has not been worn at all but that another thread

Dresses and skirts worn for. Few hours after an evening shower seem hardly worth washing?

I wash it all. Mainly as it not generally stuff I’d wear often here so it may not get worn again for quite a while. I’d rather know it was freshly washed and ready to go next time I want it. And I don’t like the idea of putting worn clothes away.

OohBurnDavid · 22/04/2023 13:03

I don’t if it’s unworn and was in a packing cube and not with anything worn. I wash everything that’s been worn even if only briefly

I'd wash everything I'd worn too.

Before we come home we separate unworn items into one bag, whites and darks into seepage bags. Anything worn gets washed, don’t know when it would be worn again and don’t like putting worn clothes away. Unworn clothes go away.

I wash it in holiday and bring back clean clothes! Dries wonderfully in hot countries.

Itsanotherhreatday · 22/04/2023 13:16

I usually holiday in the uk but that's a great idea for warm countries.

Moredarkchocolateplease · 22/04/2023 13:16

I hate the suitcase smell so I wash absolutely everything.

Georgiepud · 22/04/2023 13:19

I wash everything we've worn and occasionally any crumpled stuff.

whoruntheworldgirls · 22/04/2023 13:21

Anything worn gets washed

greenacrylicpaint · 22/04/2023 13:36

after a bedbug infestation years ago (we think from bringing home 'passengers' from holiday) we wash everything we took on return and we leave the luggage outside for a couple of days.

davegrohll · 22/04/2023 13:36

Usually just bang it all in the wash. I have been known to wash abroad though and bring it back clean ! Does save a lot of hassle

Me too! It's such a relief coming back and just having to unpack and put them away instead of piles of washing.

I love trying different laundry stuff too 😂

woodhill · 22/04/2023 13:42

Yes I always wash stuff when I am away
