How would you prioritise these boring tasks?

I napped after work & now it’s midnight. I still have loads of ”stuff” I wanted to complete this evening. What would you focus on out of:

-cleaning bathroom including tiles/grout
-cleaning oven
-sorting out overflowing wardrobe/doing laundry/decluttering
-cleaning filthy makeup brushes

I have a job interview on Tuesday too. I’ve been mentally preparing but need to physically sort things too eg laundry/makeup brushed. Also I generally just wanted a sparkling clean place before having to do the interview

I wouldn't do any of those at midnight!

Maybe put a wash on and wash your make-up brushes while you're waiting for it to be done.

AlisonDonut · 22/04/2023 00:16

Clothes first
Clean bathroom next
Don't worry about the make up you probably look fine anyway
Oven can wait til the next rainy day.

If you must do some then the bathroom and the make up brushes because they're relatively quick.

AdaColeman · 22/04/2023 00:20

Throw a wash load into the machine, it will be ready to hang up in the morning.
Then go to bed and sleep. Midnight is far too late to be doing any of the other things!
Tomorrow is another day!

HighInfidelity · 22/04/2023 00:23

I would wait until tomorrow.

I would start with the laundry/wardrobe/declittering as that will make the biggest difference.

Then oven or bathroom.

Make-up brushes would be last.

Gateoverriver · 22/04/2023 00:25

Put your brushes in with a wash if you've got a laundry bag.

Motheranddaughtertotwo · 22/04/2023 00:29

I would do the oven, the bathroom and then the brushes. I’m a night owl though so often do this stuff at night when it’s quiet and no one is around. I’d leave the laundry till the morning because it’s the most boring.

Cosycover · 22/04/2023 01:26

I'd go to sleep and do it tomorrow.

Okay so I’ve done the oven, sorted the wardrobes out and will put a laundry load on after I’ve done the bathroom to get the cloths cleaned too. I’m scared to put my makeup brushes in the wash lol!

I’ve not had any issues. I’ve got a small laundry bag for bras. I just shove them in there. Mine range from Primark to Bobbi Brown. May be try 1 or 2 and see how you get on.
