Neighbours gift

Our lovely Muslim neighbours bought round some food tonight to celebrate the end of Ramadan. I would like to give them something back to say thank you, but I’m not sure what (and don’t want to offend - we’re not religious, I’m not sure what the done thing is) Any ideas?

How lovely of them! I’m sure you said thank you at the time though. If you gave a gift to say thank you for the food, would they feel the need to get you a thank you for the gift back? It could go on forever!
I’m sure they don’t expect anything but if you want to maybe something simple and small. A bunch of spring tulips & a note saying how much you enjoyed the food maybe?

How nice of them, and yes, I agree, a simple bunch of flowers with a quick note sounds spot on.

Flowers, or just let them know how much you appreciated it

Thanks all, I think you’re right - a bunch of spring flowers to say thanks sounds perfect! I was overthinking it and didn’t know if I needed to take an eid card or not!

I would do nothing now, and when you find yourself with/make some chocs or a cake (could be anything) in a few weeks bring them some.
