What do you think of as wealthy?

Am curious, as I see references to this being key to being comfortable nowadays, rather than salary. But what counts as wealth and at what amount does it start to be classed as 'wealth'?

Does it mean things like having a mortgage paid off or having X amount in cash in investments or a savings account?

Does it depend on the area you live in, eg London requires more of whatever assets is to be wealthy?

Sorry to be thick, but feel I have confused myself trying to understand!

To me wealthy is not just an abundance of money and assets but a name and family history that opens doors and opportunities 99% of other very rich people wouldn't be able to access.
