Suntan cream that doesn't make you break out

I am in desperate need of a face suntan cream that doesn't make you break out.

After having the worst rosacea/perioral dermatitis outbreak in December I cut back and used it only on my nose and around my eye area. The outbreak cleared up with some targeted specialist treatment from a dermatologist and I've also noticed that I haven't had any spots/acne either since January, my skin has been so clear. 4 weeks ago I started breaking out again (not hormone/cycle related) the only thing I have changed since January is adding back in sunscreen.

I thought the one Id had been using for a while was actually okay (Elta MD). Others I have tried that are supposedly for very reactive skin have made me break out very clearly. Wasn't sure with this one but my enforced experiment shows it clearly must have been.

Any used anything for acne skin that isn't too drying (I'm in my 40's so don't want anything that has acne 'actives' in it) and you know definitely doesn't make you break out?

....And yes I know there's the myth about it doesn't make you break out and you're not removing it properly. I've tried triple cleansing and using a micellar as a toner and I'm still breaking out.

I'm in my 40s and prone to acne. Altruist suncream good for me.

Just in case, are you using fresh each season? I've got a bad habit of using last year's and that makes me break out, because it has old germs that have proliferated in there.

I need to get more disciplined at throwing away the oldish bottles

I’ve just bought some la Roche posay facial spray mist. It’s really light and comfortable.
