Losing weight as a vegetarian

I've been a vegetarian for the past 18 months and have put weight on. I think it's because my diet seems to have more carbs for me to feel full.

I eat loads of beans/lentils etc and some processed crap (that's limited).

Any tips to feel full?

I’ve cut out bread and couscous because I don’t find them filling.
Switch to brown rice and pasta, but have potatoes when and where possible instead because they’re the highest food on the satiety index (filling foods).
Eggs and tofu are also filing, and not too high in calories.
Although controversial, fake meat products like Quorn are filling. Some are very high in calories and fat though, so read labels carefully. Quorn chicken, mince and steak strips aren’t too bad though.
Chickpeas in particular are quite high in calories, so be careful of falafel, humous and other chickpea products.
Cut right down on nut butters.
Start the day with something filling like a small bowl of porridge or an omelette.
Be mindful of portion size.
