Are son's stitches coming out?

Son had a macule on lip removed today for biopsy. I just wondered if these stitches are normal or if they are coming loose?
Haven't had stitches for years so can't remember.
All the ends seem to be sticking out?

Is that not just the tied ends that you can see?

Look normal to me. They don't tend to be very tidy.
