How much do you pay for music (singing) lessons?

I'm looking to start singing lessons again. I passed my grade 8 when I was 20 and have sung in the shower ever since... I'd like to start again but am amazed that where I live people are quoting as his as £50 per hour which seems quite steep. Is this the norm?

That sounds reasonable though, I can't afford £200 a month and a 30 minute lesson feels a bit pointless.

I pay £45 per hour (SE), but I only have lessons when I'm working for a recital or solos - I don't do it for normal choir practice.
