It hurts to talk, agony to eat or drink. I've got a temp. Gp wants blood's tomorrow because my tonsils aren't remotely involved. It's only one side so I've cropped out the other side.

There's definitely some sort of infection going on, you need to go to a doctors and get some treatment!!

I sent a photo to my GP and she received it on the phone to me, she sounded pretty grossed out when she saw it. I've got a blood test tomorrow to see what's going on.

I've just had surgery and my immune system is wrecked so it's probably not helped! It's agony but I've only got listerine mouth wash which I feel like could just make it worse? I've got tramadol for my surgery I might take that tonight

I'm not saying it's thrush but when my son has oral thrush he had spots like this on his lips?

Ouch, I was going to suggest a quinsy, I'm just recovering from one and all the symptoms sound the same, but my throat did NOT look like that!

I have a diagnosis! I had to go to the Christie last night because I was in agony, and I had cancer surgery last week so I had access to the 24h helpline.

I have oral shingles (who knew that was a thing) and strep. I've got iv antivirals and antibiotics.
