cex.. do they still give cash?

Tried to sell my iphone to them a few weeks ago (not my local store) and they said they would give me a bank transfer that could take a few weeks to clear, Wondering if anyone has sold something there recently, is it the same in all their shops now or was it just the one i went to, do they still give cash or has it changed now? Trying to sell it on marketplace and I'm slowly losing the will to live lol..

Planning on going tomorrow with my phone but wanted to check first as it will be a case of two buses to get there. Thanks.

I left stuff into CEX a while back and they still give out cash but I don't know if it applies to the whole of the UK (I'm Northern Ireland). Have you tried maybe Gumtree or eBay for selling it and maybe get a more reasonable amount for it. CEX may not be worth the travel and may not offer a lot for the phone whatever you paid for it.
