A heads up if, like me, you hadn't read that Tesco Clubcard will be, shortly, reducing the buying power of their Clubcard vouchers. Used to be that every £ of voucher could be exchanged for £4 to spend with their reward partners, currently £1 buys you £3 but from June 14th each £1 will get you just £2.

"The change will see shoppers only able to double their points rather than triple them meaning that they will get less for their money. The change to your Clubcard points will come into effect on June 14 2023 so get that date down in your diary."

I found out, by chance, today when exchanging some of mine for a Denby voucher code.

I'm trying to exchange mine before the deadline. But jeeze, the choice is so poor these days. And when you read the reviews, some of the companies who take them (particularly the hotel chains, holiday companies etc) make it really hard to use them.

My kids are grown up, so the theme parks are no good to me, the other day out things are nowhere near me, the chain restaurant choices are much diminished, and I don't want any magazine subscriptions. So now what?

They used to be so good (I once got £600 off a long haul holiday), but now they're rubbish. The places I've spent them on before before no longer participate. I can see these deals quietly being dropped completely

Where I live we don’t have the theme parks hotels or even most restaurants listed. So not much good here either - we don’t even get the file discount.

That's just a smokescreen though. Tesco always did have really good special offers. All they've done is make the same offers only available to Clubcard members. We're not getting better in store offers than we were before.

I don’t get how people don’t see this, it’s just the same offers you use to get only now you need a club card to get them 🤦🏻
