Osteopathy or physio for post-operation rehabilitation?

I had ankle surgery a couple of weeks ago and it is now time for me to start getting the joint moving again.

I have just started osteopathy for recovery and my osteopath seems very knowledgeable etc.

However I know the common route after surgery is normally physiotherapy. I am therefore wondering if anyone had osteopathy instead, and what your experiences are etc? Welcome opinions too!

TIA.

i had a 3 bone break, plates pins & then removed after 12 months with hindsight I wish I’d gone for osteopathy as well as physio.. I think it’s important to move as much as you can as soon as you can. Take good advice.. don’t push it but get moving. Massage really helpful too…Hope your recovery goes well 💐
