Gastro infection two weeks after the last?

Two weeks ago my whole family had a vomitting and diarrhoea bug. I actually only had the runs but my husband was sick for a long period of time. Both our children were only sick once and no diarrhea.

Today I felt totally fine, went to hairdressers in afternoon and a wave of nausea came over me and then a strong feeling to be sick. I had to get the hairdresser to take the colour off and left the hairdresser with wet hair. Got home was sick, slept two hours, woke up was sick again and now the runs.

But bloody hell this surely cannot be another vomiting bug so soon after the last? Or could I be I just had it lightly and now this is the real deal?

I have so much work and deadlines to meet, this has come at the worst time and I also think my work will be wondering the same about getting two gastro Illnesses in a couple of weeks.

I feel rotten :(

Bless you. They could be different viruses. Or maybe it was something you ate. Hope you feel better soon. X

Last night I had a severely sore tonsil which has lasted all night a long with me drenching a t shirt. I'm wondering if I actually have a strep infection as I see that can cause nausea and vomiting. ((Although not diarrhea) I'm so unsure what's going on

Both times I had covid the first symptoms were being sick and a sore throat and fever, maybe do a test.

We had something like this. 3 episodes of vomiting/diarrhea in 6 weeks, the first one I was throwing up for 12 hours then got better then had a horrible relapse where I felt nauseous every time I ate for a further week.
