2 TRIPS or 3? (can't think straight, pls advise)

I have very low iron atm & its affecting my cognitive funciton.
pls i'm feeling quite anxious. i need to make a decision today about summer trips & can't seem to think it through so posting here incase anyone can help.

I'd arranged to take Dd away for 3 days as a 'well done' for after her exams.
I wanted to send Ds & his only friend away on a similar trip (same place)
He has ASD & it would be his first adult trip (I'm nervous about it)

I've costed it & I can afford to take Dd away, then have a 2 day break with her whilst Ds is on a College trip, then Ds & pal could go on their 3 day trip.

OR,
I could take Dd away, then all 4 of us could go on a 4 day break (so the lads could go off but I could cook meals etc & Dd & I would get time together too)

It works out about the same money to do 3 short trips (2x Dd & me, 1x Ds & pal) or to do 2 trips (1xDd & me, 1x DD, me, Ds, & pal but for 4 days not 3)

Not sure what to do, but if I want to rearrange the booking I have to do so today. Kids are all fine & flexible either way. I know this seems a bit of a 1st world problem but all trips are on a bloody shoestring believe me. Just can't work out which option makes more sense?

All kids invoved are ASD (Ds is 18, his pal is 18, Dd is 16).
I am NT but tired ....

"I could take Dd away, then all 4 of us could go on a 4 day break (so the lads could go off but I could cook meals etc & Dd & I would get time together too)"

This one. The other options mean you only spend holiday time with your DD and not your DS.

thanks @RideACockHorseToSunburyCross

DS is getting a (very fancy) College trip that Dd isn't.
So, I wanted her to have something special of her own.
But we will have that on our own wee trip (somewhere we've been before, but she likes it)

Then she & I could have a 2nd wee trip & Ds & his mate could do the same tog.
This would only cost me £100 more (to get 3 separate trips)

OR the 4 of us have the trip alltogther but I don't know how much I'd see of Ds - he might want to biff off with his mate a lot?

It's on a shoestring already. Do the cheaper option.

If he goes off with his mate the whole time you can treat DD to something she likes doing and catch up with them in the evenings.
