How long for enhanced dbs check March/April?

I applied for an enhanced DBS check online at the beginning of March and it still isn’t back. I’m waiting to start a job. Just wondering if anyone else has waiting and how long since you put in the check?

Mine went in beginning of jan and got it back this week! But depends what part of the country you're in, outside London generally quicker

I got mine within a week in January. I don't know what contributes to the length of time. Have you had many different addresses?

Not been at the same address, 20 years. I usually have a police check every year for my type of job anyway. Bloody typical that it’s taking so long this time when I need it to be quick.

Mine was less than a week, as was DHs. Despite us having multiple addresses including a foreign one.

How long is a piece of string, it takes as long as it takes.
