Pro's & Con's to DD taking DH surname?

DD has my surname, father not in the picture.

I am now married and we have had a baby together, dd wants to share the same surname as her baby sis.

Pro's & con's?

Have you changed your surname? Or is it the same as your older child's?

My aunt changed my niece's surname as soon as she married, however, she'd never had her father's surname.

It can be easier if everyone has the same name as she can always change it back

No real cons as long as she wants it. My mum's name was changed and she didn't want that, it also messed up her qualifications as O Levels in one name and A Levels in another so she double barreled.
