Introducing a kitten to the dogs

My dds really want a cat. We have 2 dogs. I'm reluctant but as it's dh and dds against me I'll give in.
As it's inevitable how would you go about introducing a kitten to the dogs.
Didn't know where to put this the litter tray or dog house.
Any advise?

We've always just let the dogs sniff the cat and say things like be gentle. I remember one of our dogs absolutely adored kittens, weirdly enough she wasn't particularly maternal with her own puppies.

What kind of temperament do your dogs have?

In most cases I've found the cat ends up ruling the roast. It's much hard introducing a puppy to cat I can tell you.
