Can piriton be used to treat conjunctivitis? Dd has woke up with sticky eyes and it's all I have before school.

Not really
Bathe the eyes with cool boiled water and a cotton pad.

You may need drops from the chemist too

It depends on the type.

If it's allergic conjunctivitis then anti histamine is a good shout, if not it's unlikely to help.

Boil salt water in a saucepan with cotton wool pads, wait for it to cool add to a plastic tub and keep in the fridge, clean each eye with a pad and throw away, it normally clears up quickly.
