Heathrow shopping

I've been in T5 a bit too much of late and I'm so fed up with there being no normal shops. Last time I had a 2 hour delay so thought i may as well I get a birthday gift for my DSis.

Who is shopping in the lux designer stores? They are always dead and all their potential customers are in the lounge anyways. The Kings Cross rail shops are so much better (Oliver Bones, Keils etc) - I definately could have got a gift there.

It's just so weird - like they decided that most of the shops aren't there to service the actual users of the terminal!

They were busy in terminal 3, full of people who looked Chinese. I prefer Gatwick or Birmingham for shops though

I used to work in T5 (the Wetherspoons - very outing!) and a lot of my colleagues used to save and save then spend their wages on designer gear from the shops. We got a very small employee discount. So maybe it is mostly the staff shopping there 🤣

DC always spot giant Lego bargains but completely impractical to bring with us.
