Can you recommend a mattress?

The time has come to shell out for a new mattress. I have sciatica and frequently wake up in pain. Everyone's been suggesting either Emma or Simba (mostly because of the 200 day trial) but has anyone any experience of these companies? Reviews for Emma on Trustpilot mostly seem to be bad at the moment.

Looking for a king size and would prefer to spend no more than £1000.

I bought an Emma mattress in January. No issues with it. It's on the firmer side but v comfy.
I got it half price in the January sale, so am v happy with only paying £360 for it.

I came on to say NOT Emma or Simba (aren’t they the same product anyway?). In my experience they aren’t supportive at all.

We recently swapped our Simba mattress for a Hypnos one and I’m been very impressed.

I would not recommend (and advise you avoid) Emma. We had memory foam, removable washable cover etc. I used to wake up most days feeling stiff and achy.
