Conference in London - what to wear?

I've been working outside of London since COVID and the sectors I work in warrant a lot more casual attire than I was previously used to.

The event I'm going to is hosted by a major household tech name, think FB, Twitter, Amazon etc with a mix of private and public sector attendees.

I have no idea what to wear! How dressy are these things in a post COVID world?!

I work in tech. I'd wear jeans and a jumper as would 99% of my colleagues (both sexes).

nippl less bra & high waisted thongs with 7 inch platforms. 😌

That's how we do it in the Shires.

I deal with tech companies a lot; my go to outfit at the moment is wide legged jeans, trainers, some kind of t shirt and then an oversized blazer.

Nice pair of trousers and a nice top. I rarely see people in suits & workwear on the Tube these days (or is it just me?)

Flat shoes!

Smart casual. Maybe not ripped jeans and trainers but also not a tailored suit.

My husband is just on his way to a conference in London, tech music sector, and he packed dress shirts, casual trousers and a suit jacket but no tie. But he is part of the organising team so it is a bit more formal than the majority of people who will attend.

OK more casual than I thought then, this is good and means I don't need to do a mad dash to purchase anything!

Dresses - so easy to wear.

Black jeans and blazer.
