Clearing up Dd's bedroom while she is out with friends. Working my way round the bed and stepped on a phone charger plug with the pins facing up while in my bare feet. Really hurt and brought tears to my eyes. I had to sit down for a minute until the pain subsided. Note to self; wear something on my feet next time.

It makes me feel funny just reading that! It’s horrible, I’ve done it myself. I also remember once kneeling on a drawing pin and it went right in, I still remember the crunching sound.

Every Christmas we watch Home Alone and I have to physically turn away at the bit where Marv the robber steps, full force in his bare feet, onto the spiky Christmas baubles - it makes me feel faint!

Lego and plugs are the worst!

Yes same with me or when Marv climbs the basement staircase and steps on a nail. Ouch.

Sticklebricks and Lego are not recommended, either.

And that gritty sort of cat litter isn't brilliant, either.

I have done this more times than I would like to admit to....including one particular occasion where I stood on the plug and lost my balance which meant the foot went further onto the plug as I tried to stay upright and then ultimately I then ended up falling over sideways onto the floor as well😅. It drew blood from my foot that time and I was limping for several days after. Wretched things!

Yeah when my dd was younger I had this awful knack of finding plugs and pieces of Lego later at night once she was asleep and had to stop myself from calling out in pain when I found it.

I was just about to say that plugs and Lego are the worst!

Although one night I came down to the kitchen and trod on slug that had come in, it popped between my toes.

I might just live in wellies!

Ouch. That sounds nasty. I am sure the air was blue and a few 50p coins went in the swear box, haha.
