Tax credit? You get it on a different date.

Yes there are more payments this year, first link when you google it www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-payment

• £301 paid between 25 April 2023 and 17 May 2023 for most people on DWP benefits
• £301 paid between 2 and 9 May 2023 for most people on tax credits and no other low income benefits
• £300 paid during autumn 2023 for most people
• £299 paid during spring 2024 for most people

We only get HB (not much and aren't entitled to anything else).

We've missed out on the two prior COL payments and a warm home discount of £150 due to being on the "wrong type" of benefit.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate that we are able to access any HB, but we get it because we need it (and we really do get the bare minimum to pay rent). A COL payment would really, really ease the financial burden.

Another one I miss out on
Contribution based ESA and enhanced on both PIP components

Can you swap from housing benefit to universal credit and get the housing element from there?
