Halifax credit card

I've recently got a new credit card. It's a Halifax one. All my other banking is with a different bank. I've bought a few things I needed and paid off credit card balance yesterday. The balance hasn't changed and isn't showing as paid but the money has come out my other account. Is this normal? Does it take a few days to show on app?

I pay my Halifax CC via direct debit and it does take a day or 2 to show on the app.
If you make a payment directly on the Halifax app it shows a lot sooner.

I paid a direct payment about 24 hours ago but nothing showing.

It will go to a central bank account number and then get allocated to your card number so isn't applied instantly

Yep Halifax always seems to take a little longer especially when weekends or public holidays are involved.
