Coventry...places to eat?

Any recommendations on decent but not too expensive places to eat...not Wetherspoons.

Dont mind a pub if home cooked good food or italian not a chain or indian, greek eyltc

Amazing curry at Elora in knowle a bit further away.

Hickories in button green for ribs/ American etc is nice

Cov city centre is all chains or crap food. Someone may be able to recommend a decent Indian to you though I just haven't found one as gave up eating in cov

The Open Arms pub in Cheylesmore do really good food.

Apologies to anyone offended but Coventry is up there with Stoke on Trent bloody god dam awful and I am a midlands girl.

Surely there's somewhere out lying villages not the city centre apart from the cathedral it's awful
