My friend sadly died a few weeks ago . She was in a very happy marriage but her daughter has had severe mental health problems which escalated a few months before her death .
The problem now is that my friends husband has basically abandoned his wife daughter .
Daughter now living as voluntary patient at a MH unit because her Mothers husband has refused to have her home.
Any advice would be welcome to navigate the way forward for my friends daughter.
she clearly needs a safe place to live with support for her MH issues.
Her Mothers family live overseas and left the uk after the funeral.
My friends husband is clearly having to deal with her death and grieving and I can understand that dealing with the daughter MH issues is hard .
Am vaguely wondering about contacting the family overseas for advice ….any help with this dilemma would be appreciated. X
