Quick question..Shelf life of Tesco paracetamol liquid

Got a banging headache and the only thing I have in the house is Tesco liquid paracetamol I bought for my baby grandson when he was teething.
Its been open about 9 months since I bought it but still in its use by date.
Can I take it or should I avoid?

How long can I keep liquid paracetamol?
Store in the original package. Do not use 1 month after you first open it. Take it back to the pharmacy. Do not use after the expiry date (month, year) on the label.

I imagine it’s just reduced efficacy though, it’s not going to kill you. I’d give it a go.

Did you keep it in the fridge after it was opened?

It'll be fine.

Try it, the worst that will happen is it won't work. I don't think it would make you ill just by being out of date.

It's fine, we definitely keep it longer than q month!

You'll have to drink loads to get an adult dose though.
