Hello all, please share all your stories of the spooky/ghostly/unexplained or strange things you have encountered. I don’t have any personally but am fascinated by other people’s stories or things that have happened to them throughout their life 💜

Not really supernatural, but does anyone occasionally get a weird sound (like a modem or a fax) interfering on FM radio, esp if it's the World Service?

I assume they are number stations/ intelligence related but it happened at least twice last night.

One evening when ds was much younger he was staying over at his dad's and I was here on a weekend alone.

I was upstairs when all of a sudden John Lennon cassette started playing in the built in stereo in the kitchen. I to this day cannot understand how a cassette can press the play button all on its own....

Weird! I was a bit spooked at the time.

I saw a UFO once. Not that I particularly think it was aliens but I couldn't explain what it was.

I was wild camping so in the middle of nowhere and it was dark. An enormous, green, boomerang shaped light suddenly flew overhead very slowly and then came back the way it had very slowly. Then it shot off into the distance extremely fast, in what seemed like the blink of an eye and disappeared from sight.

I'd love to know what it was as I'm assuming there's a rational explanation.

Loads of stuff but 1 particular unexplained thing is adult ds bought an electric till. We had a bar set up and he wanted it for that.. We moved and took all the bar stuff with us. One day in his room from the cupboard ds heard a weird noise... Till had rang a receipt off. Wasn't plugged in. Will see if I can find a photo..

For the record, I'm quite sceptical about many "woo" things so I know there's usually a rational explanation to these stories but I always remember this one.
I was babysitting in a very old farmhouse on my village when I was about 19. When I got there, there was a roaring fire and the kids were already in bed so I got my book out and read.
At around 11pm the temperature inexplicably plummeted despite the fire still roaring. I sat there looking around wondering what the hell was going on, when suddenly I was absolutely certain that there were now three of us in the room - two other people, one either side of me.
I just there absolutely shitting it in this freezing room until. The couple came back and I got in my car and drove off as fast as possible.
It doesn't sound terrifying and I know it wasn't real, but i remember it so clearly.

I'm not particularly woo and haven't experienced anything else except this. When I used to stay overnight at an ex's house, he would get up early for work (5am - postman) and I'd stay in bed.

Every time I woke up in the hours after he'd left I'd get the strongest sensation that someone had just left the room. I mean, that instant. Like I could almost sense the door closing. It was so strong at times that I'd actually get up, thinking he'd returned for something and I'd shout down the stairs "Dave??"

I would get that sense in both of the bedrooms I slept in in that house, the EXACT same impression as soon as I awoke that someone had, that instant, left the room and closed the door. Most times it was so strong that I'd get up to check.

It was only ever in his house. Never experienced that anywhere else.
