Thanks, I always used to describe them as bluey-greeny-grey, but maybe that is just grey as they do change shade depending on the light, etc.

I find eye colour genetics fascinating!

Beautiful, and rare. I think green-grey is a good description.

Greeny-grey? They're beautiful anyway whatever the colour!

Norachance · 14/04/2023 18:07

My mums eyes were like this. Grey/green/blue. If she wore green her eyes seemed to reflect it - same with blue.
Your dd has beautiful eyes - and lashes!

octoberfarm · 15/04/2023 00:42

Grey with a hint of blue and green. But truly, really beautiful eyes!

lemonchiffonpie · 15/04/2023 01:23

Sea-change eyes. Grey, green, blue.

Beeswood · 15/04/2023 01:50

Grey with a touch of Gold

IDontWantToBeAPie · 15/04/2023 01:52

Same colour as mine!

They're a variation of blue I think but are often called green or grey. In bright sunlight mine are a weird light moss and in the dark they look dark grey.

My grandmother called them sea-change eyes like a PP.

My mums are bright blue, my dads are brown, my sisters are emerald.

IDontWantToBeAPie · 15/04/2023 01:55

Although double checking I think your child's are greyer/steelier than mine and mine are more turquoise. Either way sea-change.

They will annoy her forever for refusing to stay fixed Grin

I like sea-change 😊

I can imagine! 😆 They were quite a denim-blue colour for a while after she was born and we had just assumed they would turn brown due to DH and I's, then turned this colour. Her grandparents are a mix of brown, blue and green though, so I guess it's not too surprising!

I'd say green.

My dad has green eyes but they reflect what he is wearing so if he wears blue they look blue.
