First passport

My DD has a school trip later in the year that she needs a passport for. My problem is me and her dad are separated and not in a good place at all. He has said he won’t consent to her having the passport at all so what do I do??

can I apply without him knowing or being involved? If I do that are there any repercussions?

Specific Issues Order at the local family court so that he has to explain his (illogical) reasons in front of a judge?
If you tell him this, it might concentrate his mind to stop being so awkward as to deny his daughter a school trip.
You do have to be prepared to take him to court if he still refuses.
C100 form and I would chuck in a child arrangement order request to confirm who your daughter lives with on a formal basis too
