I joined my local gym today (have been a member before)
The free weights area is always full of men which puts me off. I normally do body pump or combat but today went in the gym and did my own thing.
20 minutes on stairmaster, some weights machines, rowing machine and made up some abs stuff. Really enjoyed it but am always overwhelmed by the amount of weight machines there are and how many I actually need to use.

Would anyone be able to help me with a little program to get me going please? Thank you!

Not a fitness instructor but I use the Orangetheory workouts which are all on Reddit and do that religiously. I need something to focus on otherwise I spend the time at the gym looking at the wall not really sure what to do!

Amazing thank you, are these the 'at home workouts?'

No. There is an Aussie guy who shares the intel each day so you can do whatever workout you like. Today I did yesterdays and it was brutal but awesome! Also, in a public gym, get a treadmill as close to a rower as possible and bring the hand weights to where you are running between the two. I'm sure that's probably not what you're supposed to do but it works for me!

I was inspired by a couple of Uni students who just set up their own workout area and ran around between 2 machines and a floor mat with weights!

OP - have you been offered an orientation ? There should be a fitnes instructor around who can advise on which machines or free weights you can use to develop a programme
