What to do on a day doing nothing?

I've got Monday booked off work. Kids will be at school/nursery. I've realized that it's the first time in my entire life that I've booked annual leave for no particular purpose, just to spend a day doing as I please - and I'm not quite sure what to do! I know I don't want to see anyone or go particularly far (and anyway I need to pick DS1 up at 3), but I don't want to feel that I have wasted this precious day! What would/do you do with a day off with no plans?

Drop kids off.
Make myself a nice breakfast and eat it slowly reading a book or watching trash TV.
Long bath, some self-care..body lotion etc all the things I don't usually have time for.
Small nap? More reading or watching TV and drinking tea in peace.
Time spent on yourself is never wasted!

Treat yourself to coffee and cake out. Do you have any hobbies or interests that you can incorporate into the day? Maybe a potter around town.

Unless you are very tired, go out for the day. If you stay at home, at some point you'll find yourself doing laundry or cleaning the bathroom.

Try to meet up with a friend and go for a walk or lunch.

Nice lunch
An hour with a cuppa and a book

Is there a local spa or health club? Swim, steam, jacuzzi.. nice coffee and cake somewhere... trash tv and nap

Coffee or breakfast out, followed by a lovely walk. Enjoy!

The day will go really fast. So what's the one thing you absolutely CRAVE? Is it reading a book utterly alone? Sleeping? Going out?

Whatever it is, DO IT.
