Has anyone got into shape/toned and how long did it take?

Just that really! How did you get toned and how long did it take to see improvements?

Yoga. It crept up on me really. I (re) started in lockdown after a break of around 4 years where I did no exercise at all. One day I was struggling to hold planks and my arms and legs ached each time, before I knew it I was in front of the mirror tensing my muscles and marvelling at my toned thighs, biceps and showing my rock hard abs off to DH.

I started with yoga with Kassandra on YouTube then, for super strength workouts that leave me in no doubt I’ve worked hard, Fightmaster yoga. Although the lovely lady Lesley has sadly died now but new videos are still being made under the Fightmaster yoga name.

reformer Pilates. Whilst I’m not the thinnest I’ve been, still just under a stone to go I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been. 50 next year and a totally flat stomach, no muffin top, toned arms, no flabby bum
