Stratford upon Avon dinner and drinks recommendations?

Visiting this weekend, does anyone have any recommendations for nice dinner (happiest with Italian/Mediterranean or English cuisine to please a range of people!) and potential somewhere else for drinks/cocktails?

El Greco if Greek counts as Mediterranean enough for the people you have to cater for. Haven't been many other places when visiting as I like that one too much!

Loxleys restaurant - it's a bit more British food but does have Mediterranean type things on the menu and is absolutely lovely. It's a wine bar too. The steaks are amazing!

The Encore is lovely for food and drinks, also looks on to the river.

El Greco is great. As is Lambs or Loxleys (owned by the same people i think), although pricey.

I had the worst service in any restaurant ever in Edward Moon. They were so rude and the food was mediocre.

Sorrento is good food, but old fashioned.

Loxley's is fab!

The Rooftop Restaurant at the RSC is lovely, but they seem only to be doing lunch & pre-theatre times at the moment.
Definitely Lamb's in Sheep Street - you prob will need to book.
The Arden Hotel, behind the theatre, would be nice for drinks.
