This is a happy thread.
Was told my first appointment for gynae would be in September.I was so disappointed as I've been struggling for over 6 months with various pain and symptoms.
I rang the booking office and explained my situation and that I'd be happy to see any consultant not just the one id been allocated to providing that it was in a relevant clinic so not wasting anyones time and if there was any cancellations ir short notice appointments could i please be considered?.They couldn't have been more helpful and rang me back with my first consultation in May!.
It was a clinic that had just been put on the system.
I'm just putting this on here so people know that there are sometimes sooner appointments available on the system and it's always worth an ask to see if anything can be done sooner.
