I'm watching this for the first time in ages. I distinctly remember hearing Tom Hanks in Sleepless in Seattle saying that film "scared the shit out of every man in America". Who's seen it on here? I watched it as a stupid teenager and thought his wife was boring and vanilla. As an adult I see she is cool, fun and beautiful.

Men. Why do they do it?! His life is literally perfect. Also if it was real life I bet he did it again... she'd be straight on here telling us all he's hiding his phone.

Glenn Close though. Fuck me, she can act.

Oh yeah @Sidge Single White Female is a terrific film. I always thought Jennifer Jason Leigh should have been a much bigger star than she ended up being. It was good to see her on-screen again in Annihilation.

Glenn Closes character didn't know he was married until afterwards

Not true. He told her at the first meeting. SHE was the one pushing for a ONS with no strings attached!

He was an unfaithful cunt.
She was a murderous psychopathic cunt.

I agree the wife should have kicked him out. Maybe she did later when she'd recovered from the knife wounds inflicted by the psycho bitch.

Haven’t heard that @Knullrufs will check it out!

I’ve started thinking about other 80s “mad women” films now lol. The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. Misery. Basic Instinct.

I liked her in Atypical.

I love Glen Close, Michael Douglas not so much.

Glenn Close is pure brilliant. Even when she's chewing the scenery she's great. Damages is worth a watch if you haven't already seen it. (It's a TV show.) Gets a bit preposterous at times but Glenn Close is the lead and she's outstanding.

Surely it'd only scare the shit out of cheating men?
