Which rug for 10 year old DD's room?

DD really likes both these rugs and has asked me to choose which one for her bedroom, and to surprise her.

The cheetah one is in stock and will arrive Friday, which means I can have it in her room before she gets back home, which would be ideal. The tiger one won't be.

However, I worry that even though she likes it now, she'll grow out of it quickly - the other one is a bit more grown up isn't it? She's 10.

Or am I overthinking? On the website there are customer's own pictures on their reviews of the cheetah carpet and you can see people have put it in adult spaces like living rooms.

(Or, to throw a spanner in the works, what she would really like is a cat rug, but I can't find a decent one to arrive quickly!)

Yes, the cheetas are much more stylish, nice, warm colours.

It's a lovely rug for a 10 year old - quite grown up but fun.

Cheetahs is nicer. There's a seller with a shop on eBay called Best Carpets Ltd that seems to have quite a few cat/kitten designs, delivery 20-24 April.

Oh, that's good to hear! I like the style of the cheetahs one too, but I thought it was maybe too babyish.

DD would love them, but there are a fair few bad reviews on Trust Pilot sadly.

I've gone with the cheetah one, and it'll be here tomorrow, not Friday!

That's interesting! I saw the tiger one as a kitsch adult design, not a kids one at all.

Yes, that's my worry. And, I like the tiger one too :)

Too late though, the cheetah one arrived this morning! Argos / habitat is super fast at sending stuff. (I don't work for Argos, honest!) Grin

I guess if she grows out of it, I'll just have to put it somewhere else in the house, good job I like it too.
